What is the construction and purpose of headlights?

What signs of headlight damage should I look for?

The most common signs are a foggy lens, cracks, moisture inside the lamp, damaged brackets, and an uneven light beam. In lamps equipped with electronics, controller errors or the failure of selected functions may also occur. Before installation, it is also worth checking the condition of the pins and the housing at the back of the headlight.

Yes, after installation, you should check the fitment of the lamp with the fender, bumper, and grille, and verify the operation of all light functions.
